Dr. Oon awarded the National Young Scientist Award 2018

Our heartiest congratulations once again to Dr. Oon Chern Ein for being the recipient of the Anugerah Saintis Muda Negara (National Young Scientist Award) 2018. Dr. Oon is a member of the Cancer Research Cluster in INFORMM and this latest award, following the Women of the Future Award South East Asia (Science, Technology and Digital category), adds to the many recognitions that she has received for her work on novel therapeutics in cancer. Dr. Oon’s current research focuses on the inhibition of sirtuin, a molecule that plays an important role in cancer, metabolic and nerodegenerative diseases.
