DR. AIDEN LEE YUNG JEN Class of 2019 MSc Molecular Medicine (Mixed Mode)	Being one of the pioneer students of the INFORMM MSc in Molecular Medicine (Mixed Mode) programme, I can vouch for the abundance of knowledge, both theoretical and practical, as well as the breadth of real-world perspective contained in this program. Having joined as a full time student, I found the program short (one and a half years) and fulfilling, providing ample experience in actual research and relevance in industrial application, which were crucial in helping me to secure a job in the pharmaceutical industry even before my graduation ceremony. For any aspiring student out there, I recommend that you consider this program if you wish to better your prospects in the biomedical/pharmaceutical world. TAN KIM LIU Class of 2020 MSc Molecular Medicine (Mixed Mode)	The MSC in Molecular Medicine (Mixed Mode) programme offered by INFORMM backed by practical skills and industry interface has given me the confidence to pursue my career. The support and motivation of the staff and lecturers also enlightened me throughout the course.
ASMA' BINTI ABDUL HADI Class of 2020 MSc Molecular Medicine (Mixed Mode)	As a graduate from INFORMM, I had benefited a lot from the MSc in Molecular Medicine (Mixed Mode) one and a half years programme. Right after I finished my study, I managed to work as an RA at INFORMM for a year and had gained valuable working experience there. Although I was from a different field (radiology), with the guidance, knowledge, and experience from the lecturers, lab staff, and seniors in INFORMM, I managed to master the techniques and skills in the lab in a short period of time. The knowledge I gained in Molecular Medicine was beyond my expectation as the course taught in this MSc was the latest, updated, and advanced in the molecular medicine field. The most impactful experience was when we needed to complete a short research project in Sem 3 where I initially thought it was impossible but eventually possible with the help of experienced supervisor and helpful friends. As an alumnus, I believe that with hard work and motivation, anyone can finish this program with flying colours.
CAROL K BALAKRISHNAN Class of 2021 MSc Molecular Medicine (Mixed Mode)	I'm Carol from Penang. The MSc in Molecular Medicine (Mixed Mode) programme has widened my knowledge especially in genetics, immunology, infectious diseases, and cancer. I have gained knowledge and insights to prepare me for the industry, which is totally different from academics. Moreover, I had the opportunity to carry out a research project which is especially beneficial for those who have not conducted lab work before. Learning in class has brushed up my soft skills as well. The whole programme is taught by quality lecturers.
LYE PING YING Class of 2020 MSc Molecular Medicine (Research Mode)	INFORMM has a lot of collaborations with renowned universities and research institutes nationally and globally. It has been fun studying at INFORMM. I took part in a lot of events organised by INFORMMers and participated in international and national conferences. The knowledge, analytical and problem-solving skills I gained through the Master’s programme will allow me to adapt well when I continue to pursue my studies overseas.
SANJAYA KC Class of 2011 MSc Molecular Medicine (Research Mode)	My supervisor’s perpetual energy, encouragement and enthusiasm in research motivated me. The laboratory and administration teams at INFORMM are very supportive and friendly. I had excellent research and multicultural exposure while studying at INFORMM. Outcomes from my research work won an award in BioMalaysia 2009. I was awarded a Research University Fellowship to support my study and later secured a scholarship for a PhD at The University of Queensland, Australia. After my Master’s I worked as a Lecturer and Laboratory In-charge at the College of Medical Sciences in Nepal. Under my leadership, the laboratory was enrolled in multiple national and international quality control programs. I was successful in introducing a Laboratory Information System (LIS) and CME programs in the laboratory as well.
CHENG WEI KANG Class of 2020 MSc Molecular Medicine (Research Mode)	My time studying MSc in Molecular Medicine (Research Mode) at INFORMM has undoubtedly equipped me with knowledge and expertise in genetics, immunology, bioinformatics, and proteomics in the cancer research field. Annual conferences organised by INFORMM allow students to pursue their scientific passion and broadcast their research at the international level. I was glad for the opportunity to secure the USM fellowship award to fund my studies and to participate in various charitable activities. INFORMM’s strive for excellence drives me to achieve greater goals in the scientific community that resulted in multiple peer-reviewed publications. It was an honour to be a recipient of the Young Scientist Award 2020.
LEW MIN HAN Class of 2020 PhD (Vaccinology)	Pursuing a postgraduate study at INFORMM allowed me to smoothly conduct my research with the provision of advanced infrastructures and effective administrative system. INFORMM has excellent educational management to promote collaborative research discussion between students and researchers, such as weekly presentation, workshops, and conferences. It was an honour to receive the Young Scientist Award 2020 from INFORMM. Overall, studying at INFORMM has been an amazing experience to me. Highly recommended for those who are interested to pursue their postgraduate study in medical sciences.

NANTHINI RAVI Class of 2021 MSc Molecular Medicine (Mixed Mode)	A Master’s degree was a dilemma as most of my peers were keen on starting a career. However, I decided to take the road less travelled and it has made all the difference. At INFORMM, we were a part of something new and challenging, and it was an integral part of shaping me to become the person I am today. Although the programme is only 1.5 years, we were able to gain abundant theoretical and practical experience with the guidance of lecturers. I had the opportunity to participate in an International Conference and published a conference proceeding. SARAH MAHER HAMMAD Class of 2022 MSc Molecular Medicine (Mixed Mode)	For my master's degree, I decided to pursue it in a foreign country because I was looking for a research institute that would allow me to conduct my research project under the guidance of experienced professors and provide access to up-to-date methods and technologies. Additionally, I was interested in enhancing my theoretical medical knowledge, improving my presentation and discussion skills, and establishing connections with experienced researchers to broaden my horizons. Therefore, I chose INFORMM. During my time there, I acquired a wealth of medical knowledge and had the opportunity to conduct research on breast cancer therapy and gene expression analysis. It was an honour for me to receive the INFORMM Young Scientist Award in 2022 and graduate with first-class honours. I am grateful to INFORMM for providing me with a rewarding and enriching experience. Thank you.
