OPTICAL BIOSENSORS WORKSHOP BY INFORMM AND CITY, UNIVERSITY OF LONDON, UNITED KINGDOM

30 – 31 May 2023 – The United Kingdom's City University of London and INFORMM Health Campus hosted an Optical Biosensors Workshop, coordinated by Dr Meha Qassem, City University of London’s known-expertise in optical biosensors. The workshop's objective is to introduce optical spectroscopy for biological sample detection where it includes lectures, hand-on measurements of biological samples using optical spectroscopic apparatus, data analysis using principal component analysis (PCA) machine learning technique, discussions as well as lab visits. The workshop is hoped to create a scientific networking for possibilities of collaboration between INFORMM and City, University of London.
