INFORMM Mini-seminar: Advanced mass spectrometry applications

Penang – The Mini-seminar: Advanced mass spectrometry applications (Seminar) was held at INFORMM  on 29th  August 2019 led by Dr. Nurulhasanah Othman. The mini-seminar was a part of INFORMM’s initiatives in promoting home-grown expertise, researches and research facilities. The speakers in this workshop were Dr. Nurulhasanah Othman (INFORMM USM), Mr Eng (Sciex), Dr. Justin Lim  (Sciex), Dr. Shin Jowl (Sciex) and Mr Kwan (Sciex). The seminar was  generous sponsored  Chemopharm Sdn. Bhd and  Sciex which  is one of the leading mass spectrometry technology company in world. The seminar covered the key components of mass spectrometry and its application including sample preparation, instrumentation and the analysis. It was very interesting when integrated "OMICs" technologies were highlighted during the seminar.
