Talk: Hand-Foot-Mouth Diseases in Malaysia 2018

12th September 2018, Penang - A talk was conducted by the Penang State Health Department's Director, Dato' Dr. Wan Mansor Bin Hamzah at INFORMM Penang's auditorium and attended by student and staff as well as via teleconfering for INFORMMers from USM Health Campus. The talk covered the basics of Hand-Foot-Mouth Disease (HFMD) from the causative agents to the most recent outbreaks in Penang and other states in Malaysia. After the talk, a further discussion was held between Dr. Wan Mansor and INFORMM researchers for potential future collaborations in community health. Also present at the discussion was Dr. Noraini from the Penang State Health Department.
