Benchmarking visit by the Institute of Health & Community Medicine, Universiti Malaysia Sarawak (UNIMAS)

USM Penang, 14 September 2023 – The Institute for Research in Molecular Medicine (INFORMM) hosted a team from the Institute of Health & Community Medicine at Universiti Malaysia Sarawak (UNIMAS). The purpose was to benchmark INFORMM's postgraduate study process from admission to graduation, in line with MQA requirements.

UNIMAS's team, led by Associate Professor Dr. Magdline Sia Henry Sum, included Ms. Fauziah Dahlan, Ms. Norkasinah, and Ms. Nadia Izyan.

INFORMM's Deputy Director (Postgraduate), Professor Gurjeet Kaur, and Senior Assistant Registrar, Mr. Mohd Redzuan Asmi, shared insights on academic programs and processes. The visit also included a laboratory tour by Deputy Director (R&I), Associate Professor Dr. Tye Gee Jun.
