INFORMM initiated R&D Collaboration with LEDigami Technologies

USM Penang, 22 June 2023 – Institute for Research in Molecular Medicine (INFORMM) initiated a research collaboration with an industry partner LEDigami Technologies (M) Sdn Bhd through a research collaborative agreement. LEDigami is a manufacturer that specializes in environmental technology in the use of Solid-State Lighting and LED. The collaboration aims to explore the use of LED lights for to improve indoor environmental quality (IEQ). INFORMM Director Associate Professor Dr Aziah Ismail, Deputy Director (R&I) Associate Professor Dr Tye Gee Jun and lead researcher for this project, Dr Eugene Ong visited LEDigami’s R&D laboratory and office located at Kompleks Eureka in USM’s Main Campus to discuss further potential collaborations. The meeting was hosted by LEDigami Director Mr Oon Siang Ling and Chief Engineer Mr Ivan Lim.
