Visit from Institute of Nano Electronic Engineering (INEE), Universiti Malaysia Perlis
INFORMM Penang, 16th March 2023 – It was with great pleasure for INFORMM to have hosted the team from Institute of Nano Electronic Engineering from UNIMAP. The team led by Professor Ir. Dr. Khairuddin Md. Arshad together with Assoc. Prof. Dr. Mohammad Nuzaihan Md Nor, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Subash C B Gopinath and Assoc. Prof. Dr. Shahrir Rizal Kasjo has visited INFORMM Penang with aims to further strengthen ties between INFORMM and INEE as well as to explore ways of working together. In a visit that was hosted by the director of INFORMM, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Aziah Ismail, INFORMM and INEE would be able to work together very closely and strategically on furthering development into the improvement of diagnostic platform towards digitalization of healthcare. The three hours meeting also involved a lab visit of INFORMM’s facility, presentation on the strengths of both institutes as well as an advanced exploratory discussion on collaborative ties. Both sides hope to be able to initiate research projects that would complement each other in order to bring rapid technology development for the nation.
