Seminar On In Silico SELEX and Aptasensor Technology

Kubang Kerian – INFORMM organised a one-day seminar on in silico SELEX and Aptasensor Technology in collaboration with Rapid Genesis Sdn. Bhd on 4 March 2019. Two speakers, Dr Samson Soon (Infrastructure University Kuala Lumpur) and Mr Kok Mun Tan (Rapid Genesis Sdn. Bhd) shared their technical knowledge and experiences in the development of SELEX using in silico (computer-based) platform and the use of the aptamers on electrochemical-based biosensor platform, respectively. During the seminar, the speakers also shared their experiences on aptamer biosensor development and expressed their thought on initiating collaboration between INFORMM and the industry.
