ISO 17025:2005 – Compliance Audit

Penang – 9th October 2018, TEST@INFORMM Laboratory at INFORMM Penang led by Associate Professor Dr Venugopal Balakrishnan successfully completed the Compliance Audit session for Compliance Audit in scope of “Monodisperse particle size analysis (20-100nm)”

The auditing session was conducted by Dr Lim Chin Keong (Lead Assessor) and Mr Ng Chin Soo (Technical Assessor) from Department of Standard Malaysia. The main purpose of the audit is to verify the laboratory are in compliance with ISO/IEC 17025:2005 standard and to recommend the laboratory to be accredited to the Board. In this audit, 3 Non-Conformance (NC) and 2 Observation were issued. All corrective and preventive actions were closed on 12th October 2018 and successfully checked and approved by the auditors. Currently, the Board is evaluating the recommendation for accreditation.
