Structural Bioinformatics Workshop

26th June 2018 – A 2-day workshop “Computational Structural Bioinformatics: Series I- Learning by doing!” was held at INFORMM, Health Campus. This hands-on workshop covered lectures and hands on sessions on the essential protein modelling and molecular docking simulation for beginners. Hands-on sessions in protein structure prediction - basic and advanced modeling using comparative approach, molecular docking simulation- positive control and comparing different ligands were conducted. Experienced speakers and facilitators shared their knowledge on the related work whereas the participants were guided on the program executions and data analysis using their own laptop. We hope that the participants will utilise the skills learned from this workshop in their research.
