Manuscript Writing Workshop

A scientific manuscript writing workshop with the theme “Turn your draft manuscript into a submission-worthy paper’ was held on 28-29 November 2017 at INFORMM Penang with the participation of all lecturers. The objectives of the workshop were: i) to gain better understanding of the manuscript writing process; ii) to obtain hands-on experience in writing and editing a manuscript and iii) to complete a good draft of the manuscript which is almost ready for submission. Prof. Dr. Bassim H. Hameed from the School of Chemical Engineering was invited to provide participants with a systematic insight into the key elements of an excellent manuscript. The manuscripts reviewing processes among the authors and reviewers were done in a one-to-one discussion sessions followed by presentation on comments and suggestions by reviewers.
