A Warm Welcome to MSc Mixed Mode Postgraduates

INFORMM welcomed its first batch of MSc Mixed Mode in Molecular Medicine postgraduate students to the programme on 11 September 2017 for the new semester of the 2017/2018 academic year. It started with a welcoming address by our Director, Prof. Dr. Rahmah Noordin. Then, the Deputy Director, Dr. Lim Theam Soon, provided an overview of INFORMM together with an introduction to the staff. This was followed by a detailed briefing of the courses by the programme coordinator, Prof. Dr. Gurjeet Kaur. The postgraduate students then underwent a laboratory safety and training session in anticipation of their laboratory work during the duration of the programme. Before the end of the day, the postgraduate students were briefed on the importance of log book keeping by Dr. Ong Ming Thong.
