Kubang Kerian, 6 July 2024 — The Institute for Research in Molecular Medicine (INFORMM), Universiti Sains Malaysia (USM), welcomed Professor Chia-Ching Chang from the National Yang Ming Chiao Tung University (NYCU), Taiwan, in an academic visit that highlighted the importance of international collaboration in biomedical research.

Professor Chang met with INFORMM researchers, faculty members, and postgraduate students to share insights into his pioneering work in biosensor. The visit included a research seminar on recent advances in molecular diagnostics and therapeutic strategies, sparking lively discussions and knowledge exchange.

The visit concluded with a tour of INFORMM’s laboratories, showcasing ongoing projects in diagnostics and molecular innovation. This milestone strengthens INFORMM’s global partnerships and reinforces USM’s role as a hub for biomedical excellence in the region.
